Sponsored Cause: Food For The Hungry

June 14, 2018

It has been a long time coming but we are finally ready to announce our second Sponsored Cause: Food For the Hungry!

Play For More Sponsored Causes are non-profit organizations that we have chosen to officially support as an organization through our fundraising and public awareness efforts.  The main way that we raise money for these charities is through our Apparel and Gear sales.  Every item we sell will have 40% of the sale price donated to our Sponsored Causes so Food For the Hungry will receive 10% of all of our revenue!

Food for the Hungry seeks to end ALL forms of human poverty by going to the hard places and walking with the world’s most vulnerable people.  They’re moved and inspired by their Christian belief that every person has intrinsic value, and that it’s their responsibility to advocate for the poor and marginalized.  They serve on the basis of need alone without any discrimination.
They strive to respect the culture and customs of the people we serve in order to preserve their humanity and dignity. They’ve been serving through purposeful relief and development for over four decades serving the vulnerable in over 20 countries globally.

Food For The Hungry's partnership with PFM isn't their first campaign in the sports world.  They share our belief that the platform of athletics can be used to inspire people to positively change the world around them.

Through Striking Out Poverty they join forces with professional baseball players and their fans to raise money and awareness to end poverty around the world and specifically in the Dominican Republic.
Their Champions campaign works with several NFL players and their fans to accomplish those same goals and encourage everyone to be a Champion of the poor.

We are very excited to partner with such a great organization that has the same vision for how we can impact the world! You can learn more about Food For The Hungry  on their sponsored cause page here.
